When I considered doing a blog here, the title was the first thing that came to mind.
As a writer, I find it easier (for the most part) to begin with a title and wrap a story around that. An idea tends to pigeonhole me whereas a title...well that can open up a myriad of opportunity.
For example, I chose the title for this blog because it represents two different ideas and what everything else that follows will be about.
Some days, Frayed At The Edges will be like a well worn piece of apparel...something you love to throw on and feel comfortable in. Other days it might represent the unraveling of the fringes of the mind or when you're at wit's end.
But isn't that how most of us feel from day to day?
Mostly, it will be like a well worn paperback, dog eared and well read...mostly by me...just to see where I've been...re-live wacky adventures or ponder life's mysteries. How can I know where I'm going if I don't see where I've been?
