Otherwise occupied

It's been several days since I've written but I've been trying to catch up on last year's tv...lol.

A show that I'm sorry I missed when it ran but thankfully the DVD set has given me an opportunity to bring myself up to speed. If you haven't watched it, you should!

From one of the writers of the Sopranos...he created this one...looking to see where he goes with it...so far, so good!

Absolutely, Sean! What impresses me the most about this show is how authentically it captures the era. Good God women smoking while pregnant, the way men talk about their wives right in front of them! Unlike shows like That '70s Show, the "look" is genuine 1960s rather than present day people dressed up in clothes from that era. Very impressive indeed!

Funny ... I've become rather enamoured with the show myself. Of course, curvy women in tight red dresses sauntering around ... oh wait ... there's a plot to the show too?

*sweet smile*

Karen-

I know...I'm amazed at how it really reflects the times, capturing the attitudes and even the speech cadence...amazing!

Jade--

Yes, I agree...though I love the plots, things seem to stir everytime Christina Hendricks (Joan) comes on screen :D
