If there were a color for my mood right now, that's what it would be...
I'm just in a funk...and not in a George Clinton and P Funk sort of way!
I'm just...down...
Maybe it's the weather or the fact that it's dark when I get up and even before I leave work. Maybe it's that I need a change. Maybe it's a lot of things.
But, in lieu of that, I wanted to mention some things that really make me laugh.
One is probably Jack...
See, Jack is being crate trained...and on his second crate. The first one was made of vinyl and it held him for about, oh...a day. I came home one afternoon after being out maybe an hour and he had somehow gotten the zipper down. Could it have been from the hole he scratched in the nylon window? It was because that's how he got out later that night.
Then, for a while I was keeping him in the bathroom. That was ok until he had a few accidents.
Now it's a cage, but a nice sized one and he seems to be comfortable in there while I'm gone. I now think that since I have him on a schedule, he gets a better sense of how things work.
But what makes me laugh the most?
When I open the door and he's on his hind legs bouncing from one side to the other like a little go-go dancer inside the cage. I was actually thinking about pimping him out to the bitches in the neighborhood but, since he's fixed, it may not do much good.
*Sigh*...it's hard out here for a doggie pimp!
The other was the following clip which I saw on a rerun of Family Guy last night...I think it made me laugh because this is just shy of the way some people are when talking about their kids...maybe that's why I don't have many friends with kids...lol.

"Tell me how does it feel
When your heart grows cold
(grows cold, grows cold, grows cold)"
~Blue Monday by New 0rder
Well as long as we're singing: "I'm blue, dabba dee dabba da"
You've been blue for quite a while now, maybe you should get some help...or get drunk. I get those two mixed up sometimes.

Viv,
Lol...it was so long ago that I don't know if I can recall...
Now I can take a cue from this ditty...
"I've seen it before, it happens all the time
You're closing the door, you leave the world behind"
--"Cold As Ice", Foreigner
Karen,
Drunk doesn't do any good...lol.
And really, the only help I need is for bucketloads of cash to magically appear on my doorstep...though that's highly unlikely...
Maybe if I read The Secret 100 times, cast some runes, swing a dead cat in the moonlight and hire a Shaman, things will work out...
Nah...might as well stick to wishing...or I can pray to Joe Pesci...
Come to think of it, HE has bucketloads of cash! ;)
Wow, praying to Joe Pesci, that's....different.
If I win the 6/49 I'll share with you, how's that? Then we can both tell our bosses to fuck off.

Karen...
In regards to the Joe Pesci thing...you need to watch more George Carlin! ;)
I KNEW that sounded familiar, I just couldn't *quite* put my finger on it.
As far as I'm concerned, Carlin was a genius.
Karen
Karen...
Carlin is a genius...I just have to start paying more attention to what he said!
:D
