While I nodded, nearly napping...
I began to ruminate over an incident that occurred not soon after I decided to pack it in and head to sleep last night.
You see...I currently have to cohabitate with my friend of 20 years' girlfriend--a dipshit I've referred to from day one as Yoko.
I'm sure many of you know exactly who I compare her to when I label her as Yoko. And, of course, there are many stories about her which I've already shared on another blog about a year ago. She's the only person ever to cause an argument between me and my friend.
Anyway, this particular incident revolves around garbage.
Like most people, we have a regular garbage can. When it gets full, I take the bag by the handy loops, pull it out and place it inside a larger black bag that I can set out for the "waste disposal engineers" to remove each Tuesday and Friday. Usually, the black bag has a little extra room in it for other things so that we don't have to waste smaller bags all the time.
The bag that I was going to put outside on Monday evening was not quite full and relatively light. I even found room to add a few minor things to it before I retreated to my room for the evening.
However, as I went out before retiring, I noticed that two HUGE boxes of wine and a smaller bag of trash had been placed within said black bag.
And I pondered how Yoko's little shreds of common sense might get her through the day because if she had thought about it and actually tried to tie up that black bag, she would have had little success in doing so. Why? Because it wouldn't close!
Now if any normal person has this issue, they would go and grab another bag and put the things in there. Not her.
And this event befuddles me further since she was cleaning out her closet last Tuesday and made the proclamation that she had been hiding this wine in there FOR MONTHS. She was going to throw them away then but when I told her that the garbageman had already been there that day, the boxes soon vanished. I foolishly assumed that she had taken them elsewhere. There must be something wrong with me since she decided to save them an entire week for no apparent reason while she went off traveling for the holidays.
If there were one or even several instances of her stupidity that occurred I could overlook it...but this is on a daily basis...maybe it was the colony of ants the wine attracted, too, that made me angry...though she claimed it was the rain...it's rained here for over two years at one time or another...never saw an ant.
So this left me issuing an ultimatum to my friend...we'll see what happens...

Oh God Sean, I'm sorry, I truly am, but I had to laugh at this...not because it's funny but because just when I think Yoko has hit the bottom of stupid, she sinks lower.
Honestly it's a mystery to me how she manages to get around, she brings new meaning to the word stooopid.
I gather you won't be there much longer, come stay with me! My door is always open...well unless I'm out, lol.
Karen
Lol...thanks for the invite.
Not that I won't be out here much longer. I refuse to surround myself with stupidity ANY longer.
That's the key. ;)
