Th-Th-Th-That's All Folks!

"This city desert
Makes you feel so cold

It's got

So many people

But it's got no soul

And it's taken you so long

To find out you were wrong

When you thought it held everything"

--Baker Street
, Gerry Rafferty

Well, though I never thought this city held everything, I did think that it would present new opportunities...but I've covered my disdain for Las Vegas and the Southwest in other posts so I won't beat a dead horse.

This is my last night here, and, in the early hours of the morning, I start to wend my way back to the Northeast.

Since I'm losing an hour's sleep thanks to daylight savings time, this will be brief.

Just wanted to say that I have met some great friends here with whom I'll keep in touch. They've at least made my brief stay here bearable and I thank them for that.

But the more miles I put between me and Yoko, the better...and I left her a parting gift. :D

Will probably talk to many of you during my travels...until then, it's me and Jack (not Kerouac) on the road, bound for new adventures...

Oh thank God, for a second there I thought you were ending your blog and I thought I would have to call you and threaten you.

Have a good trip Sean, talk to you when you get home. Drive safe.

Vic,

Thanks..lol. So far...well...it hasn't been all roses.

I am looking forward to getting back and will let you know the first chance I get. Probably not the first weekend (20th) but the one after!
