I'm Not Sad...'Cause One Out Of Two Ain't Bad

After another sleepless night (I finally was able to close my eyes shortly after the sun came up), I got up around 1pm and, after having seen ads for something all week, I decided that, oh yes, it indeed would be mine!

Now understand that I absolutely cannot stand McDonald's...the "food" is just god awful...

...except for the McRib!

For some reason, I really enjoy the hell out of that thing and, when this culinary version of Halley's Comet comes around, I usually partake of one or two in the short time it's available.

In my travels to a few stores in the area, I was hoping to find a McDonald's...they're only on every street corner, right?

Apparently not, since I had to backtrack about 3 or 4 miles to hit the one that's closest to me but, of course, out of the way of my intended route.

Finally I pull up and..something told me not to go through the drive thru.

Good think I listened to that inner voice because...no McRib.

The MENSA student behind the counter said that he thinks they had them, but not now.

Yes, it was a minor disappointment, but one nonetheless. Everyone has had that experience where they have a taste for something and, when they can't get it, are just dejected. Well, color me dejected!

However, I was pleasantly surprised at Best Buy today when they actually had a copy of the very obscure movie I sought.

While watching the original My Bloody Valentine this past weekend, I saw a trailer for what looks to be a very cool and weird film. Take a gander at one of the trailers and peek below at the link for the premise!

Repo! The Genetic Opera stars Anthony Stewart Head (Giles of TV's Buffy, The Vampire Slayer), Sarah Brightman (from the Phantom of the Opera), Paul Sorvino (GoodFellas' Paulie) and, unfortunately, Paris Hilton (media idiot).

A musical about a biotech company that repossesses your new organ if you miss a payment along with that cast?

Say no more. Here's my money!

Okay that sounds incredibly good...but oh man, PARIS HILTON??
Way to ruin a movie.

About the McRib? Sue 'em for mental distress, they pay you off and you retire, loaded. *smirks*

Yeah...still have to watch it to see if she completely ruins it...hopefully everyone else in the cast outshines her!

Lol...I should sue...it's the American way!

maybe she only has a small part *crosses fingers*

Of course, and you'd probably win too. Then you'd have money without working and would fit in with those people in Vegas, lol
